I am Back


After a very positive feedback to my emails on Digital Marketing Innovation in India - I am back to my blog which I forgot after creating... I promise to keep contributing to it.. Heres the second post

Use of Social Media for General Motors

Quasar, for the launch of Spark, first time aggressively used Social Media as part of digital marketing to launch a product. Among many digital social media properties, like Orkut, Answers (see below Yahoo Answers page) returned some very good results. Every alternate day we asked users different questions related to “Spark” and users participated to reply them. By the end of the campaign we had hundreds of people answering the question and engaging themselves with the launch of Spak. This property was used both “Pre Launch” and “Post Launch”. In a press release today, we noted, that a question asked by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam received more than 30,000 responses on the Answers property
